Jewelry Care

Each necklace and Bracelet will withstand daily wear however they will not withstand sharp pulls.
Storage is Important, these pieces need to be storage, cleaning and maintained as you would your fine pearls. As with pearls these necklaces and bracelets need to be re-strung after several years of wear.

We recommended you store your pieces in the individual jewelry pouches we provide with each piece for the utmost care. Since these pearls and gemstones are organic, there are certain substances that will take away some of its inherent shine and among the things that can destroy their natural beauty are alcohol, acids, oils, lotions, liquids, or harsh chemicals, sweat can also affect pearls and as such (exercisesing, swimming, bathing, etc) It is strongly suggested that you apply any of these items of personal use (cosmetics and sprays) prior to wearing your designed jewelry when your jewelry are touched by any of these substances, you should carefully wipe them off inmediatly. Excessive heat and sunlight can also be harmful to some gemstones.

Sterling Silver, Gold and Bronze
Most of these precious metals tarnish by the simple contact with air and exposure from sulfur Do Not use any liquid type jewelry cleaning. To polish them, carefully use a soft yellow “Sunshine” cloth.

Pearls and Gemstones

Wipe your pearls with a soft, lint-free cloth as soon as you take them off. The cloth can be dampened (not wet) with water or it can be dry. If damp, allow the pearls to air dry before putting them away.
Dirty pearls and gemstones can be cleaned with a mild soap and water solution (try Ivory flakes).
Never clean your pearls with solutions that contain ammonia or harsh detergents.
Don't put pearl jewelry in an ultrasonic cleaner.
Don't use abrasive cleaners or rub pearls with abrasive cloth. Both can wear away the nacre coating, leaving you with a plain looking bead.
If you are unsure how to clean jewelry that you have, always play it safe. Many inexpensive gemstones, like cheap ruby or bambu coral are dyed. This dye washes off in water, so take care in cleaning.
When in doubt, Silver Puffs or "Sunshine " cloth are the safest method; they are gentle enough to clean pearls gemstones and beads, yet also clean sterling and metals well.
